<description>Lol, my hubby gets like that sometimes, all weird and romanticish. Most of the time I tolerate it but every now and then I kinda snap at him, like the other day. He was all like can I do something for you, do you want me to run you a bath, etc. etc. etc. I was like, dude I appreciate the thought but what I really want is for you to leave me alone right now, the kids are in bed, the house is quiet, I want to zone out for a moment, I am not angry or anything but I will be if you keep annoying me, so chill out.

Other times when I tell him to do something romantic he tends to think nice dinner, movie, roses. I always have to remind him that spending money does not always equal romance. Every once in a while it is nice but what I really would like is for the take the kids away for a while. Things like you mentioned.

But then again he is little weird at times, the other night he wanted me to watch The Quiet Man with him, and he was all cooey and junk. Not the most romantic movie in the world but I guess to him it is. Lol.

And shucks about the no more commenting on the single friends rant. I was going to say that that is weirdly enough on of the main reasons I hang out with my one real single girlfriend (well beyond the fact that she is best friend) even though her whining about her life annoys me at times. I enjoy it cause it makes me think back to a simpler time of life, ah how I miss it sometimes. Yes back in the good ole days when I only got 4-5 hrs of sleep a night because of I was doing something fun, not having to get up all night to comfort a teething baby, sigh.
